PHILOSOPHY
With over 3 years experience in management of post plastic surgery care, I understand that having cosmetic/plastic surgery can be exciting and overwhelming. I understand that the recovery process is often overlooked, and many questions about swelling, pain, and the healing process can sometimes go unanswered. My goal is to bridge the gap between your surgery and your recovery. I am here to guide you through this important process, while working closely with your surgeon to help you obtain maximum results.
Depending on the procedure performed, we will start our sessions within 48 hours (if indicated) with a combination of MLD (manual lymphatic drainage), infrared light therapy to aid in the healing process and minimize fibrosis/scar tissue formation. A Colombian faja will be custom measured for you to ensure the appropriate compression. One bag of Sulinu Pre/Post Vitals will be given to each patient to assist in healing and recovery.
All treatments will be tailored to each patient's need and adjusted depending on how quickly patient is healing.

FIBROSIS TREATMENT
During surgery there is trauma to our lymphatic system which results in swelling. The lymphatic system is responsible for removing waste and toxins from the body. MLD provides more efficient healing from surgery by assisting the removal of excess water and metabolic waste from affected tissue in the body, thus reducing swelling and fluid retention. Less fluid retention helps minimize scar formation. MLD also supports relaxation, helps with pain management, and provides stress relief.
This is a specialized type of treatment that should be performed by a MLD certified specialist.

This package includes therapeutic ultrasound, Infrared and Near Infrared light therapy, and 1 Colombian post op compression garment (faja), personalized care, and continuation of care with your surgeon and staff.

Post-liposuction fibrosis is the appearance of extra fibrous tissue generated as a result of abnormal tissue formation while healing. In addition, fibrosis swells the surrounding tissues and causes hardening of the area. It can also present as a bruise or painful lumps. Post-lipo fibrosis is a circulatory problem.
There is no way to say who can develop fibrosis, but if you developed it don't worry, fibrosis can be treated at early stage with manual lymphatic drainage or if is more chronic a combination of Lymphatic drainage, ultrasound, and fascia stretches can help to soften the tissue and restore the affected area.
